Our Activities and Services

The EUA has several platforms for fulfillment of its missions. We organize a busy annual calendar of conferences, workshops, courses, and seminars.

The EUA flagship conference is the oldest running urology conference in the region. It hosts the largest number of attendees with esteemed and world-renowned panelists and speakers – from leading urology centers all over the world- to present the most updated content. Its program encompasses the latest research, studies and guidelines in all subspecialties of urology with state-of-the-art lectures presented by world renowned speakers from all over the world. It is usually held in the fall or early winter of every year and rotates between a number of Egypt’s beautiful major cities, Cairo being the most recurring host city.

EUA Executive Board

The EUA Executive Board is elected by the members of the EUA through direct elections. The elections are held under direct supervision of The Ministry of Social Solitary of the Egyptian Government. The board comprises 15 members including the president, vice president, general secretary, and treasurer. The running term of the elected board is 4 years. The current board was elected in December 2022.

EUA Sectors

The EUA envisions a urological practice that is led by specialized urologists capable of delivering the finest patient care, designing training, and conducting research. To realize this vision, the EUA supported the establishment of urological subspecialty sections. These include :

Each sector has a head, a secretary and an assistant secretary. This panel is elected from leading Egyptian urologists of the subspecialty. Their tenure synchronizes with that of the executive board. The sector panel sets and oversees the annual agenda for sector meetings, courses, and pre-congress sessions in the EUA conference.
